Hanna Hartman is a Swedish composer, sound artist, and performer. Her work encompasses a diverse range of compositions for ensembles, radio, electroacoustic music, and sound installations, and is performed internationally. Known for her distinctive sonic language, Hartman uncovers hidden correspondences between a wide array of auditory experiences in her compositions. Hartman has received numerous awards and fellowships, including the Karl Sczuka Prize, the Phonurgia Nova Prize, a Villa Aurora Fellowship, and the Rome Prize at Villa Massimo. She has served as Composer in Residence at Swedish Radio (2007 & 2008) and the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival (2019). Hanna Hartman is a member of the Akademie der Künste, Berlin, and lives and works in Berlin.
