Eloain Lovis Hübner works as a composer in the fields of new music and contemporary music theater. Their artistic practice focuses on experimental sound research, transdisciplinary formats, and the connection between music and social and media environments. Their works are often informed by influences from sociology and queer studies. Eloain Lovis Hübner collaborates with international ensembles such as Ensemble Modern and has received important awards, including the Deutsche Musikautor*innenpreis and the Kompositionspreis der Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. They have also held residencies at Villa Aurora in Los Angeles and the Cité internationale des arts in Paris and served as Composer in Residence at AuditivVokal Dresden in 2023.
