Spółdzielnia Muzyczna Contemporary Ensemble is among Poland’s most dynamic ensembles specializing in the performance of contemporary music. In its programs, the ensemble brings together classics of the 20th century with works by the younger generation, placing particular emphasis on Polish artists. The ensemble has performed at renowned international festivals including MaerzMusik in Berlin, the Darmstadt Summer Course, AFEKT in Estonia and numerous Polish festivals, such as the Warsaw Autumn. Among its most significant accolade are the prestigious Ensemble Prize awarded by the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation, as well as nominations for the Coryphaeus of Polish Music and the 2022 Fryderyk awards in the category »Contemporary Music Album of the Year«.
